Three Chili Blend + Mexican Oregano
A shelf stable take on traditional Latin Salsa Macha. A mix of three chilies grown on my farm, sesame seed, onion, garlic and Mexican Oregano. Just add hot oil. (Due to licensing restrictions, it's easier to sell this as a spice blend rather than a finished product). Feel free to add fresh peanuts for crunch!
HOW TO TOAST YOUR SALSA MACHA
(Instructions also on the jar)
Pour spice blend into a larger heat proof container. Add 1/4 cup peanuts if desired. Heat 5/8 cup oil of your choice to between 375-400 °F. Slowly pour hot oil over spice mix (it should sizzle and bubble up a bit). Stir. Once cool, return to original container.
Once made, keep refrigerated. Will last in the fridge a minimum of 3-4 months.
